Hindu Pre-University College, Shirva is a well known name in the educational landscape of Udupi district and has shaped the lives of thousands of students. From this academic year the college moves forward in association with the Jnana Chethana Education Trust, an academic administrative body founded to deliver value based, modern and competitive education at the Pre-University level.
The Trust believes that an institution is built by the quality of its teachers and students rather than by buildings alone. Its first initiative was to bring together experienced, subject expert lecturers in Science and Commerce so that talented students from Shirva and the surrounding rural areas receive excellent education close to home.
